Business Trip to Paris: Where to Stay Near the Arc de Triomphe

For a group business trip, choosing the right location can make the schedule considerably easier to manage. Located at 12 Rue Christophe-Colomb, Hôtel Helzear Étoile is a short walk from the Champs-Élysées, George V metro station and Place Charles-de-Gaulle.

From here, guests can reach La Défense, Porte Maillot and meeting locations across western Paris without relying on taxis for every journey.

Direct Connections to La Défense and Porte Maillot

George V station, on metro line 1, is a three-minute walk from the hotel. Charles de Gaulle–Étoile, served by metro lines 1, 2 and 6 and the RER A, can be reached in around ten minutes.

The RER A provides a direct connection from the Arc de Triomphe to La Défense. The Palais des Congrès de Paris at Porte Maillot is two metro stops away.

Offices and meeting venues around the Champs-Élysées, Avenue George V and Avenue Montaigne are within walking distance. Rue Marbeuf, Rue de Ponthieu and Rue du Colisée also offer several options for business lunches and dinners nearby.

Current service information for metro lines 1, 2 and 6 and the RER A is available on the RATP page for Charles de Gaulle–Étoile station.

Guests arriving by car can use the nearby Q-Park Marceau car park, where hotel guests receive a 10% discount.

Arranging Accommodation for the Group

Hôtel Helzear Étoile has 29 suites and apartments. Each suite or apartment has a desk, free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a kitchenette and a Nespresso machine. Daily housekeeping, room service and dry-cleaning services are also available.

Some suites provide additional space with a separate living room. The 26 sq. m One-Bedroom Duplex Suite divides the bedroom and living area across two levels, while the One-Bedroom Deluxe Suite offers 28 sq. m of space. These layouts are useful for working in private or having a brief conversation with a colleague.

The hotel does not have a meeting room. Formal meetings will therefore need to take place at an external venue or at the offices being visited.

Breakfast is delivered to the room between 7.30 a.m. and 10.30 a.m. and costs €16 per person. Guests can therefore leave according to their own meeting schedule.

Managing Staggered Arrivals

If delegates arrive on different flights or trains, airport and station transfers can be booked in advance. The front desk can also arrange taxis and motorcycle taxis.

The front desk is staffed around the clock. Check-in is available from 3 p.m. and check-out is by 11 a.m. Late check-out can be requested and is subject to availability.

Luggage storage is available before check-in and after departure, which is useful when meetings are scheduled outside the hotel’s check-in and check-out times.

Rates and availability can be checked through the Hôtel Helzear Étoile booking engine.
